It’s no surprise that with Christmas right around the corner, I tailored my cards to that holiday. I might as well get some of my christmas cards done too, right?
I am happy to share these cards with you today. It took me quite a while to complete this class due to illnesses in the home! Including me, yikes!! It has been a doozy too! Cough, congestion, fever, difficulty breathing (inhaler for that), and soooo tired! I am on the mend now, and so is the rest of the house!
My first card uses both a stamped image with ink and a coordinating stamped image that is embossed. I think this adds such nice dimension to the background, and I made several of theses in different colors.
I love the glitter on this card. I die cut the heart and then added the glitter paper behind the die cut image and while it’s difficult to see, it actually has an acetate sheet over the glitter paper as well. I hope the love and joy of the season come thru to you with this card! I think it’s a great card for someone special!
I love the colors of this card. The brightness of the blue glitter and embossing powder really stands out against the silver. These are different sizes and color snowflakes embossed on the background. Again the embossing really adds a lot of texture to this card and the big blue snowflake is a great focal point on the silver ornament.
I appreciate you taking time for my class projects today. Thanks.
