This is my first time receiving the Paint-A-Flower monthly subscription from Altenew.
Isn’t this a beautiful stamp set?
For my card today, I embossed the stamped image on Arches Hot Pressed watercolor paper in black and then applied a simple “waterwash” of the Caribbean Sky and Forest Glades color from the Watercolor 36 Pan set. I then added a dab of Liquid Pearls to each flower to give a bit of texture. I created a “window” for my hydrangeas using the clear packaging from stamp set with some foam tape. The same technique as making a shaker card.
This close up of my card shows a little better the window I created. The colors are so subtle on this card, I didn’t feel the need for anything else to take away from the hydrangeas. I feel confident this will be a great card for someone who is ill, or a sympathy card with a personal note inside.
Thanks for stopping by and sharing your time today.

Lovely, Rachael, just like it’s creator.
That’s so sweet, thanks
Thank you for sharing this with me. The “Paint a flower – Hydrangeas “ is really pretty, and like you said it didn’t need much to enhance the beautiful flower.
Oh Billie, thank you so much
