Muslims worldwide will celebrate Eid al-Adha, also known as the Festival of Sacrifice today thru Monday.

In honor of those in my life who are celebrating, I created this card, and wish them a happy feast!

The sentiment on the card is “EID MUBARAK” which means “blessed feast or festival”. This is truly a time to celebrate and families make a point of being together, food is plentiful, and prayer is observed. Little more difficult this year with COVID-19, but many people will make it work!

I was able to get a strong metallic look on the sentiment by using embossing ink and clear powder on blush colored paper several times so it really shines. It also has a “thickness” to it that feels more than just paper.

I gave it a sort of badge affect by adhering it to a dark brown cardstock, and piece of vellum. I created my background using a heart stencil, with a blush colored ink that matched the blush colored paper.

This card also adheres to the Festive Friday Challenge #FF0064 which I am happy to participate in.

I chose pink, brown, and circles as my focus, but there are other elements as well.

Thanks for stopping by today and spending some time with me!

Rachael
