Huge shout out to Nicole Watt at Pixel Mavens Retreat! I just finished her class in the Altenew Academy called Mission: Inspiration!

What a fantastic class this was! So much help in the way of creating ways to get inspiration and organizing that inspiration! I wish I had taken a class like this a long time ago! I feel like I’m starting a new adventure! I highly recommend this class!

So the first thing I want to share is a little about making lists! Yes, some of us are list makers, others not so much! Only this is a list to help you pull inspiration from. This first set photos are  pictures of my first Inspiration List, and a sketch from a photo I had from a magazine as well.

You can see from the magazine photo how I created my sketch on the far right side of my journal.  I picked out the elements from the list and used them to create my project.

I chose “florals, pinks, and yellow from my list, and went from there.

Easy peasey!

I recently got the Open Bloom Die Set, and was excited about using it. This is what I created my card with.  I also used the Watercolor Brush Sets from Altenew to add additional color to my blooms and the background.  I die cut the ring from silver mirror paper and a small half circle from a piece of vellum. I then did my embossed sentiment from the Painted Butterflies Stamp Set.

I hope you find some inspiration too!. Altenew has so many great products and classes to help us all create!

Thanks for stopping by,

Rachael
