This is my last lesson set in the Level 1 classes!
I have enjoyed these first set of lessons, and am really looking forward to moving on to Level 2.
I cannot say enough how valuable these classes are. I have been creating with paper in some form or another for many many years, focusing on stamping, cardmaking and scrapbooking the last 15. I feel I have a pretty good foundation and consider myself an avid crafter. But I learned something new in every class!
This last lesson set really went back to basics in a way, because while I had used most of these techniques early in my stamping adventures, I hadn’t for a while and it was ice to get after it with just a few items.
I used the “Adore You” stamp set from Altenew for both of these cards. Along with the Altenew Mini Ink blocks for my coloring. The backgrounds on both of the panels are really simple techniques using direct ink to paper, and a brayer technique. So much fun to play with applying color in different ways!
My second card uses embossing ink for the flower outline, and watercoloring with the dye inks and using an acrylic block for the blue background. Again really simple techniques, but lots of fun!
I hope you have enjoyed my first set of classwork that I have shared over the last few weeks, as I know I have enjoyed making it and sharing it with you! Thanks for stopping by.
